Position Details

City of Montello (population 1500) is accepting applications for a Part-time/ seasonal Public Works Employee with the emphasis on City Parks Grounds, Buildings, and Equipment Maintenance. Starting wage will begin at $18.00 per/hr. The Public Works Department is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including street maintenance, park maintenance, water utility, wastewater utility, and special projects. All Public Works Employees are expected to be cross-trained in all the identified areas; however, the majority of time for this position will be spent working in the Parks Department.
